
Emily Euman

Emily Euman is an accomplished performer and educator, and is thrilled to be returning to UCANDANCE in 2026. She will be teaching dance technique, skills development, competition training, and introducing a new heels class.
​
Originally from the Latrobe Valley in regional Victoria, Emily began dancing at the age of 2½. She trained for eight years at Gippsland Academy of Dance, where she achieved significant success in competitions including the Morwell Festival of Dance and Latrobe Valley Eisteddfod. Her early achievements include being awarded Champion Dancer at Follow Your Dreams and earning 1st Place at the ATOD State and Australasian Ballet Scholarships in 2019.

At 14, Emily relocated to Melbourne to train at the Victorian College of the Arts Secondary School, where she studied classical ballet under the mentorship of highly regarded industry professionals including Madeleine Eastoe and Timothy Harbour. She later completed Years 11 and 12 at Transit Dance Academy, specialising in Commercial Jazz and Contemporary dance.

Emily has been a long-standing member of Dance Prescription, assisting across multiple cities throughout Australia and internationally on the 2023 UK Tour. She began teaching private lessons in 2024 and continues to work closely with developing dancers through both private coaching and group classes for ages 8–11. Her teaching experience also includes RISE, U CAN DANCE, and NIPA.

In 2024, Emily was accepted into the prestigious Verdon Fosse Legacy Professional Training Program in New York City, training with internationally renowned Fosse performers. Her professional performance credits include appearing as a background dancer in Tones and I’s ARIA Award-winning music video Dance With Me, as well as featured performances at the YPA Real Estate Awards and the Sydney Children’s Hospital Gold Dinner.

Emily has served as an Ambassador and Senior Team Leader for RISE and has performed at some of Australia’s most recognised venues, including The Palms at Crown, the Palais Theatre, Melbourne Town Hall, and The Star Sydney. She has also trained with Sydney Dance Company’s Pre-Professional Program and is a scholarship recipient to Jason Coleman’s Ministry of Dance, Transit Dance, Dance World, and Brent Street Intensives.

In 2024, Emily received a professional contract with Royal Caribbean, performing aboard Odyssey of the Seas from April to December.

Emily is passionate about mentoring the next generation of dancers, combining strong technical foundations with performance quality, confidence, and professionalism. She is dedicated to creating a supportive and inspiring learning environment where students are challenged, encouraged, and empowered to reach their full potential both on and off the stage.
