Jess Quinn

Jess Quinn from Melbourne, originally from Cairns, started her dance training at the age of 4 at Turning Pointe Dance Studios. It was there that she completed all of her RAD Ballet Exams & also gained teaching qualifications in Tap & Jazz. Jess was lucky enough to have been accepted into the Australian Ballet Interstate Program at age 13 where she regularly attended for 3 years. After this Jess was accepted into Jason Coleman’s Ministry Of Dance. Here Jess attended the full time Performing Arts course as a scholarship student for 3 years. 

 

Jess has trained and competed extensively in many genres including Classical Ballet, Jazz, Hip Hop, Commercial, Contemporary, Tap, Musical Theatre, Lyrical & Pointe.

 

Jess was a member/ Dancer Of SCIMM DANCE COMPANY. Between her professional training and teaching, Jess continues to be involved in corporate events as a performer and choreographer for companies such as KPMG, Forever New, ANZ, Mazda and Hawthorn Football Club. Jess has done a lot of exciting work on television as a dancer and has performed with artists such as Red Foo

on Dancing With The Stars, Meghan Trainor at the Logie Awards, Justice Crew at the Australian Open, MC Hammer, Dave Callan, Kath & Kimderalla as well as choreographing for the Hit Television show Neighbours.

 

In 2011 Jess was a finalist in a contemporary Hip Hop duo called Team Rocket on Australia’s Got Talent, finishing up in the finals. Jess starred in a television show on ABCME called Dance Like..which she presented a 12- episode series with five UCANDANCE Students.

 

Jess is now the National Ambassador for Keep Kids Safe In Dance and has completed her Keeping Kids Safe In Dance ( KKSID ) teachers certification.

During 2023, Jess Quinn will be taking on a guest teacher role and choreography for UCANDANCE while she is residing in Japan for work purposes.
